stephen hazelton 3 Posted January 2, 2006 I've seen several guitar-player shots the last several days, and this is definitely the best of them. You had a good angle here, with interesting lighting; enough blur to add a sense of movement, but didn't obscure the details. Link to comment
bbc 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Good to see that you included both of the guitarist's hands - this is a must. The image needs some cropping, mostly on the left I think, but perhaps on the right too (not sure about the top, I wouldn't want to lose the microphone). Also, I think it would look better if the guitarist's eyes were open. Link to comment
envy_inc 0 Posted January 7, 2006 In this shot, I believe cropping out the lights on the left would lessen the visual impact of the image. As for the hands, in a shot like this one, they are vital. In other shots, I'm focusing more on the emotion on the performer's face. Both have their pros and cons. Link to comment
