mike ortega 0 Posted January 5, 2006 When shooting low lit areas try to use a small amount of bounce light back into the dark areas such as the feather and the detail of the candle. Also light the candle, then light the scene from that angle to give the scene a real concept appearance, that will relay the low light concept. Spread the objects out to include the surface. A well worn desk would complete this picture. This type of still life needs to convince the viewer that is is not staged but rather a theatrical scene. Nice work otherwise! Link to comment
paperfenix 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Very nice scene but It is not an original work because the idea was captured so many times and the scene is very comun in order to represent culture and things about literature or history. Over all, I could I nice treatment of source of light. Some details are not totaly clear but I like the general view. Link to comment
