Merced NWR Sunset

Haven't posted a critique request in a while. Recently got this shot

which I like, but would like some 2nd opinions. Thanks!

 

Between storms here in CA I made a spur-of-the-moment dash for one of

my favorite wildlife spots and caught this diffuse glowing sunset.

The air was crystal clear and calm and full of birdsong.

Great harmony of colour. The absence of animal/human life is suggestive of a winter atmosphere, although in california it shouldn't be that cold. Best wishes for the new year

Saturate the color a bit, crop off that greyish cloud on the top and you have a fine calendar picture. Paul
