jerry ting 1 Posted December 30, 2005 Just tried out the combination of Nikon ED Manual Focus 500mm/f4 P & Nikon TC-14E (700mm x 1.5 = 1050mm film SLR equivlent). I am quite satisfied with the quality. This is full frame and directly converted from raw image with no manipulation. Technical data: 1/250 - f/8. ISO 160. Exposure Comp -1.0 EV. Please view Larger for details. Thanks. Link to comment
haysuess 0 Posted December 30, 2005 I would say this was a perfect capture but the exposure is very dark. I see you took it raw so I think it'd be a big plus to brighten it up a bit or more than a bit. Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted December 30, 2005 Hey JT, thanks for your comments. If you check the technical data you will see that I intentionally set the exposure 1 step down to avoid the white feather being burnt out. Guess that's a little bit too dark. I'll try a more sophisticated post-process with the raw later tonight. Thanks again for stopping by. Link to comment
bruckner 519 Posted December 30, 2005 Nice capture and presentation, the whites on my monitor look OK. Link to comment
