I just returned from my honeymony, which was on Orcas and the very second I saw your photos. I knew exactlly were they were taken. Great capture.

A very fine image. At first I thought, not a centered horizon...but it matters not an iota, it is a wonderful photo...serene , beautiful . Best wishes, Walter, Downunder.

I think it's the centred horizon that emphasises the serenity - just as the standard 2:3 / 1:3 position is often suggested because it gives a more dynamic feeling, so the boat's position is just perfect to introduce a little horizontal movement into the tranquil scene. Just my humble opinion, of course.
