Hmm...this shot would be much more interesting if I had seen more of an expression on her face to let me know what she is thinking with that fly on her nose. For instance, if she were looking down at it, that would have been classic. I think if I were you I would have edited out this fly and zoomed in a bit more on this adorable serious look she has going on. Your lighting is fabulous and her eyes are gorgeous. I like the way you captured her hair and the way it frames her face.

i agree. I don't like that fly on her nose. it seems almost like she is used to having it there, which leaves the notion that you are portraying poverty. yet, your description of the photo doesn't imply the same. Very nice light in the eyes, the expression is beautiful.

this is the first photo I took of this farmer's girl sitting on her balcony to test the exposure. After this first shot she became aware of the camera and I can't get the same expression again. There is only wheat field as far as the eye can see, she was just staring at the space.
