Oh this is just incredible. The best photo of this type I've seen.

Absolute love it. The contrast between the sharpness of the rocks and the movement in the water i s striking, and perfectly captured. The rather dark and gloomy weather only adds to the atmosphere and makes for an excellent combination of colours.

I think this might be one of the best, most dynamic, landscape shots I have seen on PN. The way the water and sky echo each others' motion in a strong diagonal. The complimentary colors throughout. I like the delicate hand in whatever post processing that was done here, even if nothing other than to process the raw file--I hope you shot this RAW!. Your contrast range couldn't be better, the whites are where they should be and the shadows have just enough information, while still anchoring the image. Very nicely done.

 

Looking through your folder, for me, this one just really stands out.

an incredible image. the movement of the surf sucks the viewer in through the rocks, then the light section of the dramatic sky draws the eye the rest of the way into this great scene. beyond that, the rich and deep colors add even more drama and feel. wonderful!!
