It was 50 degrees and the wind was blowing at least 30mph when this

photo was taken. Californians are drawn to the water in all kinds of

weather. All comments are welcome and appreciated. Cheers, Sondra

Sondra, You certainly shot this at exactly the right time to get those warm golden highlights on the tops of those waves. Showing the people really shows how big those waves really are....Beautiful....Jim

Love the warm lighting. I wish the background cliffs were as dark as the foreground beach. The haze seems to have influenced them with a redish color...Nice capture!

I like the colours you captured, quite original for the sky especially. The people on the beach add greatly to the sence of depth and dimension of your image.

What a very particular light and colours in this picture Sondra. Gives the whole scene an almost surrealistic radiation. This image gives a warm touch to this(in meteorological view) cold and dark time of the year. Very nicely done!

I wish you and your family a Happy, Healthy and Creative New Year dear Sondra, Warm greetings from a cold and under snow covered Holland, Ada:~)

Beautiful colours and light. I like the orange reflections of light on the waves crest.

When you say 50 degrees, I hope this is not degrees Centigrad. How much is 50 degrees Fahrenheit in Centigrad ?

Henri, 50 degrees fahrenheit is about 10 degrees celsius. The water was cold and it was windy. I forgot we are the just about the only ones not on the Metric System. Cheers, Sondra
