I think this is one of your best so far,composition and colour plus sharpness is spot on, you don,t have any clutter in the shot which focuses the eye straight on the subject, and the spiny stick compliments the subject,great shot.

Birte said it all, this is a very good picture indeed. Good composition, only 2 colours, it makes a simple and pure picture. Intricated background frequently spoil insect pictures, in this one, the pale blue sky makes a perfect one. And still with this A400... Congrats.

love teh warms colors of this one. they stand out nicely against the pale blue sky. the focus is fantastic both for detail and for texture. that branch has the tips of my fingers tingling.
