Very good effect. Darkness has befallen but the moon adds a shimmer of light.

Absolutely Wonderful especially the light the moon casts.

This creation stimulates my imaginations.;) Through your excellent PS work you have brought real mystery into this scene, Alex. I love the shine of the moon which is reflected in the path. The whole atmosphere has something creepy but in spite of that I would like to enter the open gate; seems to invite me to step in to take a look inside. I'm curious to know what I will find there. Great job you've done dear Alex!

Nice creativ image, full of mystery. Yet, about the processing, I find it is a bit too smooth, with no roughness in the stones. Is it the effect you wanted or is it a flaw ?

Hi everyone, thank you for your very nice comments. I'm overwhelmed by the acceptance of this work! I was not so sure about it, though I liked the final result. Your comments are a big source of motivation and learning for me. Henry you are right, the foreground stones got somewhat flat in this uploaded version, I think due to resizing. The full size version has quite crisp details there which here seem to have gotten lost. Whishing you all happy 2006!
