marcadamus 1 Posted January 6, 2006 Could be in the abstract category also. Just light on water textures framed by a bowl of stones illuminated in the sunset colors. Link to comment
snapshot1 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Another fine image! This one looks rather painterly somehow. Perfect composition & exposure. I would not change a thing. Link to comment
stevespencer 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Absolutely lovely. Velvia truly does shine for a shot like this. I love that you have kept the sun from becoming a big white blob, helped I'm sure by the wide angle as well as your finely selected exposure. This is such a pleasing image from composition to color to textures. -s Link to comment
kbridgman 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Some of the best lighting I've seen on these kinds of shots. Very well captured! Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted January 6, 2006 Yes, it's a slide shot. Velvia 50 with no significant PS work. Film handles direct lighting like this better than digital. Link to comment
kbridgman 0 Posted January 6, 2006 I've looked at this a second and third time now and must make further comments. This is simply a wonderfully composed and exposed photo. Bravo for using Velvia...Love the warmth and texture slide film provides... Link to comment
