Absolutely lovely. Velvia truly does shine for a shot like this. I love that you have kept the sun from becoming a big white blob, helped I'm sure by the wide angle as well as your finely selected exposure. This is such a pleasing image from composition to color to textures.

Yes, it's a slide shot. Velvia 50 with no significant PS work. Film handles direct lighting like this better than digital.

I've looked at this a second and third time now and must make further comments. This is simply a wonderfully composed and exposed photo. Bravo for using Velvia...Love the warmth and texture slide film provides...

Please may I ask you one thing Do you still shoot some Film? I believe a lot of Landscape photographers still do.
