It's a beautiful picture, and the perfect frame colors to it. Too bad you have to hide this in the macro category, where I would rarely look...

Helmut, where would you have put it? I couldn't decide...

I would suggest either Still Life or Birds, both have a bigger audience than Macro...

I thought of putting it in birds, but it's only one small part of a bird, not the whole thing. :) Oh well...

Nice feather shot. The background and tonality add some real interest and depth.

Thanks, Mark. This feather was floating in the dog's puppy pool. It had so much yuck on the bottom of the pool that it gave this nice reddish color. It's since been emptied and cleaned!
