aepelbacher 0 Posted December 23, 2005 When I went to Tuba Christmas in Solomon's Island, Maryland, it was held at the Maritime Museum there. This gorgeous scene greeted us outside of the venue. Link to comment

sondra kick 0 Posted December 23, 2005 Very nice, would love to see the entire reflection. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted December 23, 2005 Actually, there was not an entire reflection, there was a dock immediately outside of the cropped area at the bottom. Bummer, huh? Have you been to Solomon's, Sondra? Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted December 24, 2005 I have been here but not at Christmas. It is enchanting with the holiday decorations. Merriest of Christmas's to you dear Lou! Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted December 30, 2005 I thought at first you had gone to the Solomon Islands for your Tuba Christmas. Not so I see. This looks an interesting place and a lighthouse with character! I think generally when photographing buildings it is usually best to give them more 'context' than you have here as that will help explain or comment on the building. So I think I would have used a wider lens. (Probably the 10-22 but the 17-85 would be a possibility too!) Link to comment

johnoberry 0 Posted August 2, 2007 The Drum Point Lighthouse. Move to that site and restored when I was in my teens. In the background, at the joint of the left most support you can see one of the covered slips at what was called Shepard's Marina. Traveling left from that slip less then 200 yards is a one story, white house that belonged to my grandmother. You did a lovely job here. John Link to comment
