"A Bavarian Afternoon" (Frohe Weihnachten!)

Canon A80, ISO-50, f8 @1/640 sec., aperture priority, -.3 exp. comp., hand-held. Manipulation: Layer and saturation. This is a tribute to my beloved Canon A80 which had passed away last week (liquid immersion.)

The mood is exquisite..soft, comforting. The road to the future lies ahead, uncertain but inevitable. Beautiful image.

Perhaps a touch on the to soft side for me... never the less, it is a really plesant shot. It doesn't blow me away but I think what really makes it work ultimately is its understatedness.

Christmas card feelings all around and a very solid work.

Good job Will.

Lovely rendition as usual Wilson.

Too bad about your Canon. Strange that my Sony F717 failed on me again. Had the lens replace 6 months back due to faulty CCD (under warranty) Now same problem but I'm going to let it pass on as even my kids have new nifty 8mp prosumer minicams. Now part of my antique collection. ^_^

A peaceful christmas scene, Wilson. Nice and soft colours. Have you been lately in Germany?

I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Wilson.

Warm greetings from Holland, Ada:~)

Nice colors and tones. Makes me rather cold looking at it, though - probably a good thing as it's 80 degrees here today! Something not quite right about that the day after Christmas!!!

Beautiful. The road (a metaphor for life) leading us on. As all good Harley riders know, it's not the destination but the journey that counts.

This leads me right into the image, makes me wonder where the road arrives! Nice job!
