maria 7 Posted December 25, 2005 Many thanks! Same to you!! I had somewhere a snowman in 3D done with Director ® though - I think Shockwave ® cannot be displayed inline :( I know what I have to upload next - some atmospherich December/January white landscape/cityscape pictures ... like those of Salzburg, Austria, for example :) Auguri! maria 7 Posted January 4, 2006 OK, it is an architecture which does not have much to do with 'genius loci', but it has a certain 'graphic' quality with all the superpositions of lines, translucency, transparency, although I've seen some which I liked more, with mirroring. thanks for looking Maria Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted October 8, 2006 When showing image that contain this much graphic and abstract qualities I always try to eliminate those portions that don't have anything to do with those main qualities. See my modifications above where I rotated and cropped your image. I would have posted this as an Abstract and called it "Metro Expo" which is a bit catchier title. Link to comment
maria 7 Posted October 9, 2006 You have a much better eye for abstract ... maybe B&W would have made the image even more powerful (I am quite unhappy with the white cloudy sky, so unusual for Lisbon ...). Indeed, eliminating the people and cars in the background, and trees, helps very very much! Thank you so much for teaching me about croping images!! kindest regards Maria Link to comment
