~ Slava's Snow Show #19 ~

mark_tso

Snowshow is the beauty of a single snow flake as it gently falls and lands on your shoulder. Snowshow is the sound of an adult laughing uncontrollably at nothing in particular. Snowshow is the joy of believing that anything is possible. Snowshow is the sadness of a wave goodbye from a train station platform. Snowshow is the realisation that life really iswonderful.New York - 2005 Drama Desk Award for UniqueTheatrical ExperienceLondon - Olivier Award for Best EntertainmentEdinburgh - Edinburgh Festival Critics AwardMoscow - Stanislavksi AwardAustralia - Helpmann Award for Best Visual & Physical Theatre

From the greatest theatral performance I'd ever seen... this image

has been presented in my portfolio for a long time, but i never

tried to upload it to critique forum...till today.

I am glad you have uploaded this one, and hopefully you show us the rest! The series is great, and this one is a very good example (even if it is not the very best, imo). Good colours and composition. I sense a sadness and loneliness in the picture, but I don't really know, since I haven't seen the show.

i agree with per. good composition- it enforces the feeling of emptiness. the bright colour is great too next to the black. it conflicts with the title you gave it and the sad emotion of the clown... clowns are happy and colourful and bright..there's a lot of colour, but a lot of darkness too...

Hey! How are You? One little thing to tell about my perception of this scene - may be it will explane the title better - the most powerfull association of this scene (at least for me) it's one between the emptiness of the man and the bottle....think in this direction. :^)
