sgosser 0 Posted December 21, 2005 Thanks for the comments. This was another shot taken at the PGH Aviary. Steve Link to comment
smile_my_friends 0 Posted December 23, 2005 You got the light jusr right with this shot. Was the sun setting on the left side? The orange tinge reflection of light is beautiful on what usually seems to be such a harsh or dirty white. I love Bald Eagles, we had an injured/sick one at the Nature Center where I volunteered in the infermary and he was so fierce, even when he was rapped up in a towel and sick. Link to comment
sgosser 0 Posted December 23, 2005 This was shot in an outside enclosure. I can't remember what angle the sun was but I liked the warm glow on the left side too. This is one of two bald eagles they have at the Pittsburgh Aviary. They both had wing injuries and could no longer fly. The aviary was rehabilitating them so it looks like they are doing pretty good now...which is so nice to see with these magnificant creatures. Cheers! Link to comment
smile_my_friends 0 Posted December 28, 2005 Pittsburg Aviary! My sister used to live in Pitt and I would make sure to make a stop there... working in a place like that is a dream job :) Link to comment
