ada-ipenburg 0 Posted December 20, 2005 This is a picture taken by daylight. I've tried to give it the look of a night scene. I hope you like it. Your comments and constructive critiques are welcome! Thank you, Ada:) Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted December 21, 2005 Wow, thanks for your great comments my dearr frriends! It makes me very happy that you are impressed by my PS tricks. I feared I was a bit overconfident here. I mean, the final result looks really dark here, even on my bright screen and how far can you go to manipulate a day- into nightshot? It's like Nova says a matter of practice and I'm very busy with it day and night:~) Warm Greetings to all of you! Ada:~) Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted December 21, 2005 You are a magician, Ada, to transform daylight into night. Superb conversion, especially the incoporation of the moon & the surrounding coloured clouds add beauty to this image. Link to comment
michael_draper 0 Posted December 21, 2005 Tis is really great the lighting across the building and the moon behind the clouds are spot on. Link to comment
petervannugteren 4 Posted December 21, 2005 Prachtig Ada! Spookachtig vriendelijk. Kan zo als cover dienen. Mooie style. Groetjes Peter Link to comment
wim.ipenburg 0 Posted December 21, 2005 Again & Again great image with rich details. Beside the fantastic "special effects" you have a great feeling for composition. My eyes goes automaticaly from the bottum slowly upstairs till I reach the moon. Than I spent a lot of time to observe all these great details with warm and deep colours and soft lightnings. So totaly, it's again a masterpiece. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted December 21, 2005 Ada, changing day to night again???...lol, nice and mysterious, even a bit too dark on my monitor, real night!...and good light behind. Best Wishes my friend to you and your family, especially to sweet Flor! for thecoming holidays and new year. Pnina Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted December 21, 2005 Dear Pnina I knew it! This creation is too dark for you!:).... uh, I mean to dark for your monitor LOL. It's difficult for me to estimate how far I can go in my day-night manipulations. I bet there are people who only see one complete black rectangle:( But to be sure you will be able to see something at any rate, in particular for you my friend I have added the moon (kind of a landmark). I'm joking, dear Pnina. I'm really glad you like my creation. Thank you so much for your whishes, Pnina. I will give them to Flore, she will like it. And I wish you and yours a good holiday season and a healthy and peaceful New Year too. Ada:~) Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 22, 2005 This is very surreal-looking, Ada. I like the mood, although it seems more like a Halloween mood than a Christmas one. --Lannie Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Thanks for your visit and kind comment Lannie. Your remark about the mood tallies with the fact. This creepy creation is certainly not meant as a Christmas scene because, as you know I actually don't like that feast at all, in my opinion it's a diversion. But I grant everybody his opinion and religious expressions. So I have no problems with the Christmas hype that every year crops up again around this time of the year. The last night of the year is much more important to me. That's the night I think things over and I think that this year the outcome of my thoughts will be in total conformity with this picture; dark, mysterious, full of fear; in short, black. The only positive point which will come out is reproduced by that strange planet in top of the picture. That is my only hope for the future; that there is a peaceful place somewhere in- or outside our solar system to where we can escape if the whole lot get distroyed. I realise that I sound very negative. But actually I'm only realistic what not includes that I don't gonna wish you and all my other PN friends a great time and all the best for 2006! I wish we all will do our part to make a better world! Many greetings, Ada:) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 22, 2005 Another great shot of your Creepy-side-of-the-world-series. I`m watching it since a couple of days yet. I guess it?s up to the spectator what might happen behind the window. I for myself decided. (Won`t tell anybody). Anyway. Merry christman to you (both ;-))and a happy 2006. Edgar Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 22, 2005 Thanks, Ada. I celebrate Christmas in my own way, but I also recognize that the date of its celebration is entirely arbitrary--and I hate the commercialism of it all. It has become a tremendous hassle, in fact. Great photos such as this are always in season, of course. --Lannie Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted December 22, 2005 The look of night scene is perfect, Ada. Nighty and a bit creepy as it is full moon and legends say....:-) Really well done. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Hi Edgar, Long time no see, were have you been hidden? Nice you have a look here. I have no idea what's going on in those attic room but you give me an idea....:~) It was great to hear from you Edgar and I also like to wish you and your wife and children Froliche Weihnachten und ein sehr Gluckliches Neues Jahr. Viele Grusse, Ada:) Thank you Lannie for your reaction. I wrote my comment to you in the middle of the night. That doens't alter the fact that I change my opinion, but during the night I often let myself go (in a very decent way anyway) and the result is that the next morning I'm in doubt about what I've written. So I advice you to take my night comments(local Dutch time) with a pinch of salt (now and then). In what way you'll celebrate your Christmas Lannie, I wish you'll have a great time with your family and friends. Warm greetings, Ada:) Hi Paula, nice you stop by and thank you for commenting my picture. Craving to mystery I think belongs to the most of us. I like to believe in legends. Dear Paula, I wish you and yours a wonderful time and all the best for 2006! Warm greetings, Ada:~). Link to comment
