beautiful shot. Good choice of monochrome. I like the inclusion of the foreground... adds a lot of interest for me. Might suggest composing a little to the right if possible to not cut off the tree (door frame seems a little cramped on that side as well) Good work

I like the composition with the placement of the tree branches and door. I like the tonal qulaities but I would not have particularly spotted an IR effect here. Nice shadows.

Colin, you are right. Since there is very little that was green you don't get the effect, but it was taken with my IR camera and filter, so I called it IR. Cheers, Sondra

Sondra, Truely a clssical image. Amazing how much light is in the shadows of most IR shots.....I seriously believe there is a very real possibility of you being ask by some well known gallery to put on an exhibit....Believe me, you have the talent.....Then again, you are already exhibiting in the world's largest gallery......Merry Christmas from our family to yours......Jim
