This is a very mysterious photo. Who are these people? Male or female? Why have they covered themselves? Why are they going to the sea? What are they going to do there? Mystery and secrets...

 

The b&w adds to this feeling of mystery, together with the darker top of the photo only revealing a hint of the sea. It definitely is an intriguing photo!

What a great light and mood in this picture Bianca. It's really a wonderful image that suits very well to this time of the year. It reminds me of the story which is told in the bible; a cencus was taken under Caesar August and all the inhabitants of the Roman Empire were forced to go to the city of their ancestors to let themselve sign up. Perhaps it's a childlike imagination and completely different from the purpose you have with it, but when I saw this scene it was the first thought that came up to me. I'm not religious anymore but I have grown up with the bible so for me this is the ultimate Christmas card! It characterizes the resigned Christmas rush for 2000 years ago. Extremely excellent done! That is really funny Ada.... after so many years and of religion that you captured this image as one... :-)... Gesluierd struinen ze door de duinen naar de zee en dan..........

Alles uit... en lekker zwemmen.

Ben benieuwd naar de rest van deze serie(lol)

Werkelijk prachtige foto met heel bijzonder licht. Gelig licht dichtbij en wit licht verderop en daarachter is het spannend donker.

De compositie is prima! je wandeld er bijna vanzelf achteraan.

Een wat lager standpunt had de foto easthetisch nog net iets sterker gemaakt want dan had je meer van de zee op de foto gekregen en de strandpartij was dan wat kleiner geweest.

Haha, ik had het graag voor je gedaan Wim... ware het niet dat dit de steilste duin was waar ik ooit op stond. Als ik netjes in mijn lage standpunt was gaan zitten was a. iedereen al vertrokken (want het is niet in scene gezet) en b. ik pardoes koppeltje duikend met mijn 300D in het zand beland...;).... Jij ook fijne dagen natuurlijk and thanks everyone for the comments!
