a. a. 1 Posted December 20, 2005 Very nice composition and moment. Great face by the way. The skin texture seems over worked in PS otherwise it could've been a great image. Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted December 21, 2005 Hi Misha. I had just forgotten to tone down the grain before I uploaded. The one you see now is the natural version. I've replaced the over-PS'ed one. Cheers! Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted December 21, 2005 A simple conversion to B&W from a scan of the neg. Very little else, apart from removing some dust in PS. What do you make of it? Please comment. Thanks :) Link to comment
santoni 0 Posted December 21, 2005 very nice shot but the object in the background is distracting Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted December 21, 2005 Hi Massimo! Thanks for commenting :)The object you have mentioned is a speaker. I took this photo at the musician's video shoot and I felt that this speaker would actually add interest and help tell the story better... But I've also tried out your suggestion here. atkphotoworks 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Mark, this one stood out for me. I like the profile shot here a lot. I also think the speaker fits into the "Musicality" context which is I assume the reason you have it there. I do like the version without it as well, because the speaker does provide a distraction, although contextualized. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 8, 2006 Mark, I like that one very much , especially without the speaker.. very strong portrait, good light well done in B/W.Pnina Link to comment
