mona_chrome 0 Posted December 20, 2005 It's funny, but just from the thumbnail, I thought "this looks like a band photo". I like the photo, but you have to wonder if it is time for bands to be shot in some new ways! Link to comment
goulden 0 Posted December 20, 2005 trying to shoot bands in new ways is a massive challenge. generally the band members don't like being photographed, one of them will always have a silly expression, every location has been used to death, they normally have very limited times they can be at the shoot, there are a number of people inputting their 'vision' of the band, label, management, girlfriends, fans, the band themselves, the photographer.... mark_tso 0 Posted December 22, 2005 this is undoubtedly very good image...it covers the subject, but in original way. technically, it is great - as we use to see in your works. there is one point i didn't like. i think that the pose and the location in the frame of the right musucian isn't suitable for using of such a wide angle - so it became too distortive..esteticly.. i would like to notice a great lighting and colour composition. stanton imaging 0 Posted December 29, 2005 first i would like to say this is a good band pic i like the treatment you have given it. as far as your answer about new ways to photograph bands goes i totally agree you can only try to come up with new ideas the rest is down to all the constraints you mentioned and a bit of luck...nice job here love the dog and the way he is looking unintrested in the band. mondiani 0 Posted January 3, 2006 I agree with Mark about the distorsion. You can fix it with PTLens a free tool downloadable everywhere. ___________________________________Mondiani party event photographer Link to comment
