This jewelry shop used to belong to my grandfather . I havent seen it

for years , since i was a child , until several weeks ago when i went

to a trip to Jerusalem and was surprised to see it carry the same

name and almost look the same as i remembered it . I took this shoot

so i can give it to my father as a photographic memory .

I love this photo, great composition and framing, the color tone truly captures the moment and the location as well as the history. Very well done. I can only imagine the memories that seeing this has brought to you. This will truly be e fitting gift to your father.

Please have the greatest of Holidays to you and all your family.

I love pictures made by heart, and I can see yours...

Btw. doesn't anyone see or understands that this is a -christmas- gift full of memory and sentiment for an older man -your father- and for that the

frame works well considering that... :0)

Alon, I remember visiting this store only once!...I went over to Israel for the first time at age 15 with a bunch of other teenagers; we were spending the summer.... I think I still have my name written in Hebrew on a necklace that I bought here, in Baltinester. What a small world. I haven't thought about this store in years. I hope your grandfather enjoyed this photograph. It captures a mood, a neighborhood, and good memory for me too.

Wow Donna , This is crazy :) , It is a small world . I don't know how old you are today but it used to be a very famous shop in Jerusalem . My grandfather died many years ago ( never saw this photo :-> ) but uncle used to run the shop until few years ago .

You really surprised me , Thanks :)
