birteragland 1 Posted December 19, 2005 This is nice as well, I find spiders very hard to photograph against the light like this, especially with my old camera, so I understand the limitations you would experience with your camera, I therefore think you are achieving excellent results. At present, I am using light metering and focus at cental point only and keep the subject mainly at central point to get proper focus and proper exposure of the desired area....... with regards...... rabinder Link to comment

stupski 0 Posted June 14, 2006 This one's quite nice also. Agree with Birte, that this type of a shot is somewhat difficult. Keep in mind that if you use the Macro mode, get as close as possible to your subject (which you seem to have done here) and try to shoot it with the background fairly far away so that it blurs more (bokah). I'm guessing you may have used the Landscape or Auto mode here? Link to comment
