Hot lights (800 watts)at 15 degrees off center. left placed lower

at around 10 degree's from subject centre. Right light upper from

center around 30 degree's with scrimmes and amber and UV warming

filters. matching back ground with contrasts and tones with

foreground subject. Black back drop to fill the normal noise.

Unfortunately the scan is always detrimental to the actual print.

Thanks and good luck!

you gotta love the ratings though M! I know what it is like scanning tranny's. That's why I never post film on PN pain in the ass... Awful! But this is one of the few times I have allowed ratings because most people don't get it. Photography 101 they call it (High school photography Critics) ya gotta laugh all the way to the bank!

Randall,

Don't worry about it...really!

I enjoy many of your shots, specially your compositions.

Always looking forward to see more of your work.

Many of the PN members have started photography just because of the digital technology and are not familiar with the aesthetics other than that...and people are scared of unknown, be it belong to the future or past, it doesn't matter.

Cheers to you my friend.

Seductive shot Randall. I like how the lights illuminate the clothing. Part of me would like a bit more of a crop on the right. On the other hand,I would have liked that this was framed as a horizontal shot to capture her whole body.

I get it, don't worry, I've got some Cannonn 10D prints hanging on the wall in my livingroom, and several analogues, the digital prints are awefull, though on screen they look all awesome.

Some of my own analogues are printed in posterformat without loss off detail & color. I never go scan them and post them here.

Thanks guys! These are just put up for kylie because it will take me a while to print. The shots are scanned off the trannys so I haven't really looked at the cropping as of yet. Like M.H I try to shoot close to it to avoid grain or pixelation if I am shooting digi. best Regards

Hi RP :) First of all, may I say congratulations on a really wonderful shot. Thanks for sharing the tech details. I think the post-processing in PS has made a great shot into a fantastic shot :) I've looked long and hard, and I don't think I'd change a thing!

Best regards from Kenya, Mark

I normally prefer not to cross the line into the realm of seductive female model photography because I'm not receptive to the vast majority of images in this "category". But I just wanted to say this one stands out for me. I like her attitude, and sense a person in her.

Great one Paul!!!

Like the light, the soft look, the pose... I just mind a bit the shadow on her left leg, I would take it away, and I would try to make the left hand more spontanious.. From my point of view, it is artificial in this pose...

6/6

Keep on good work!
