awfully hard to find non-foot-printed stretches here in the late

afternoon (and I couldn't for the most part) Do they distract too

much here? ANy other comments or critiques or suggestions? Thanks

I had to have a good look at your portfolio, and this is my favorite of your Death Valley pics. Since I like to crop tight, I would have gone for a square format, leaving out the bottom part. And those footprints are just great, they give a sense of scale.

Thanks Claude. I usually try to avoid cropping as if it were the plague (since I don't have that many extra megapixels to as is) in case I want to print big. However, I like the idea quite a bit and might look into it for a post on photonet. Nice to see your take on the footsteps. I tried to leave them out for the most part but it wasn't always easy. Glad they worked
