A little old and a little new. I like your angle and the way it seems to flow. What caused the shadows on the bricks? Nice Shot! (I just did the samething to a pair of gloves here in Oregon!)

Nice composition with great details on the wall.

Too bad we have too many interesting elements in one photo from the shadows to the glass buiding the great bricks on the wall and the "U" shape formings and the suddenly a lighter area on the right hand side which has no point of interest.

Very interesting photo anyway.

The lighter area on the right side is the most interesting part, along with the green reflections above it. The reflected light from the building opposite works well, but I would have gone to some trouble to get the office lights in the blue wall out of the frame.

While the lighter area on the right hand could've been the most interesting point of image, it is not.

The reason that eyes go for it, is because first it is lighter and second it is in a good compositional point in an over all loose composition.

The lighter area could've been the most interesting point if the focus on it was sharper as well as it had the right exposure to show the less treated wall in the contrast of well treated older and well lit new glass walls. It also needed to capture a little bit larger area of the image so while the effect of the idea stays subtle, the photograph lure the viewer towards it and make a subtle yet clear point of the intention/concept .

If the lighter area is glass as well then I don't see any reason to build the whole image around it unless we go for a graphic style/abstract concept which again the sharper focus and right exposure need to be part of it.

In the current composition if the focus and exposure was set for the lighter area it would've sacrificed the rest of image without gaining much in return.

Just an opinion.

I don't think we disagree. I'm talking about the attraction to the features of the lightest element, totally apart from their function in the composition. I don't think the exposure needs to be changed, since I can see plenty of detail, and I would suggest a different composition, except I wasn't there to see what the options were.

I'm assuming you're aware of several folders in my portfolio that reveal my attraction to the subject matter, both as record shots and as abstracts.
