Great shot Jeff..works great as a b/w IMO. The tonal variations in the delicate texture of the peeling paint comes across very well. (if that makes any sense)

Thanks! Not trying to be nasty, so don't take this the wrong way, but what distinguishes your "closeups" (some of which I like very much) from this? I have no feelings of "fine art masterpiece" about this, but I feel that it's a unique subject, composition, and rendering that probably got overlooked by 100's if not 1000's of photographers before me (No exaggeration. It's right next to several things that get HIGH visibility & in a part of the country (Death Valley) that attracts photographers all year every year).
