I would say its too yellow, but she is asian... too much artifacting, crop is too tight

You might be right, Charles. The tight crop was done to eliminate a busy background, and the 'artifacting' to achieve a more painterly surface. I appreciate your comments, though. :)

I like the crop and her expression. I think though, the photo would have more impact on me than this painter version. cheers Jana
