Andrea, Julio and Hector. It's realy nice to hear appreciation from photograph'S that I respect and love there work. But I wonder for the lower grades. I saw the picture on a darker screen and it was very poor. Maybe a bad calibrated monitor is a reason. But also, I was wondering if the light in the Eye of the bird should be touch-up to Lower the intensity of the light in question. Comments on this aspect would be appreciated. Would.nt worry about the low graders,some people on the site just get a kick out of giving 3/3, properly because they can,t take a photo themselves, happens to me as well and lots of others ,if you look they get high scores from people who are willing to put their name to the scores and then these DI!K HEADS come in.I think this is a very good shot and I would not change a thing, as a matter of fact I like the fact that its dark.Won,t allow me to rate, but you can see what I have given it.

Thanks for feed back, Birte, yeah i'm with you on that one use to be better without the anonymous drunkus raters. But dont you think the "flare" in the eye of the swallow is a little bit to harsh? Happy New year Martin, I have just had a quick browse through your bird photos. This one is just FINE, I love it. Don't worry about low ratings....they are annoying, but some do it out of ignorance, others for fun, all good photographers get them. It still annoys me. One thing is for sure, good photos always get noticed, keep shooting, I am enjoying it.
