Reaction: great colors. Quite twiggy. I like the depth to the view in the shot. I think the light fading from dark to light colors leads my eye into the back of the photo. Then my eye gets blocked at the line of the shore. Perhaps because that line does not continue in the lighter color. So, I want to crop out that shoreline and let my eye follow out of the frame, or bounce back to the autumn leaves colors. The forms and patterns make this a dynamic photo that keeps my eye moving around the frame except for that line at the top.

thanks for the feedback, i'm always interested in how people react to photos...for me, holding my hand over the portion you mention at the top makes the view more contstricted and claustrophobic feeling, with less to draw my eye around the image plane to explore.
