When I first saw that, I thought that was Joe Strummer. Despite that it's not actually Joe Strummer, it's still an excellent photograph in what were probably pretty tough conditions to shoot in.

Great moment perfectly caught. His expression is perfect and the blurriness in his picking hand is great. Love the blackness and the other guitar (is that a Danelectro?) just peeking out. My only nit to pick is the four burned out spots next to the microphone. Are they three picks and a light? I would definitely edit out the biggest one and think about the others. Other than that quibble, it's perfect.

I agree with Bill about the bright spots. Except for those, this is a perfect picture, sharp, very well composed and with intensity and just that little touch of movement blur on his right hand.

This has to be one of the best rock-shots I've seen in a long time. I don't even know the band but I can tell they are great! At least that's what the photo tells me. What Film did you use to get that super contrast? I like it a lot.

what film did i use? really glad you asked that, a CMOS sensor developed in Photoshop CS2
