kmgibbs 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Did you shoot this in B&W mode or convert it? Great atmosphere either way. Thanks for sharing it. Link to comment
mozgur 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Hi Kent, in landscape shots, I use exclusively RAW mode. I could have converted in BW using Canon DPP, however, in this case, I worked on the color version of the image. If you notice, this image is the third version (v3.0) of the same shot with some minor modifications. I posted the second version which was in color here on PN couple of weeks ago. Just before I posted this one, I deleted that version. In short, this image is in color, and still work in progress. Now looking at it, I do not like the white band extending from one side to the other, in the next version I'll have both sides burned a bit, IMHO, it would improve the composition. What do you think? kmgibbs 0 Posted December 30, 2005 I agree with burning in the left and right edges. You might think about burning in the lighter area near the bottom left corner. Link to comment
thadley 10 Posted February 3, 2008 That entire fog in the middle of the image attracts my eyes too much - I would burn most of it - not just the corners. Fabulous shot by the way, in keeping with your other images. Link to comment
