Effective, powerful shot. The harsh shadows really contribute. The right edge cropped perhaps a tad too much.

As to the crop, well, I didn't crop. She was at the far end of the bathroom when I shot and I was on a stool with tripod to get the effect from above. I have another version with a torch light behind it, but the pose and disposition is the same.

Looks like she is confined in a narrow area. Her pose reflects the agony of the confinement. Nice tones.

Funny but great how people's perception differs so much. Being a mother I look at this and see a stolen quiet moment in the bathroom after a shower. To me confined means imposed lack of space but here I see solitude by choice. Very thought provoking image-nice textures.

To me the body language is about retreat into oneself - as small a space as possible. So I see it differently to Leanne. I agree about the tight crop on the right but the composition is very good with the back against that side of the frame.

Molto bella, propio un bell'effetto. Forse la foto sarebbe stata ancora piu efficace se lo sguardo della modella fosse rivolto verso la camera, penso che in tal modo la foto avrebbe potuto acquistare drammaticita'. Magari anche solo di sfuggita e con il viso mezzo nascosto dai capelli. Non so se mi sono spiegato.
