alexguerra 0 Posted December 17, 2005 Unusual composition caught in the right moment. I like the three shapes forming a diagonal from the girl in the bike to the small window in the right upper corner. Moreover all the three shapes are triangles, even the bike if we unite the points! Very well done indeed Sigfrid. Link to comment
charodiez 0 Posted December 19, 2005 Ok, I am going to say that word so constructive: WOW! Alexandre has summarized so well why this photo is so good. Do not you see that some of your best shots include people? ; ) Link to comment
sigfridlopez 0 Posted December 19, 2005 Thanks for commenting, Charo. This shot was really the result of hazard. I was shooting the windows, and the tiles on the wall (from very very close, for my "Industrial beauty" folder), when I saw the girl approaching quite fast... so I went a bit further away to create what I thought it was going to be an interesting composition. I only had time to shoot once, but it was enough! :-) Yes, I prefer people now, hehe... Link to comment
johncrosley 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Please submit this to the photo critique forum. It will only show there for a few hours, and not show on the 'top photo' engine because it was not recently uploaded, but for those of us who collect and display the TOP PHOTOS of others in our galleries of 'top photos' it is important to have the best, and this is one of those and I have no other way, now, to place it in my top photo gallery other than to 'rate' it. (new changes by Brian Mottershead that I didn't have before). Outstanding photo with excellent distribution of mass. Please e-mail or otherwise notify me if you do submit it; I get much traffic in my 'top photos of others' as one of Photo.net's top critics directs his traffic to my 'top photo' gallery. Congratulations for such a wonderful shot. John (Crosley) Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 1, 2006 Every so often a little gem like this crops up at PN. The type of pic we all wish we had taken. C. Link to comment
johncrosley 0 Posted February 1, 2006 I'm glad you submitted this to the critique forum -- and it looks like several members also did, including the esteemed 'Els' (Someone Else), who truly appreciates fine photography. You may find it rated in my 'highest rated' gallery. Because you placed it in your portfolio long ago, it will not take a place in the Top Rated Photos in the TRP engine for the various 'views' such as 24-hour, 3-day, week, etc., as it is not eligible, but it is worth it just for getting the comments you got, I think. Thank you for showing it to others and for posting it for my purposes -- others will view it in my folder and its views that way will mount slowly, but surely. (All 'views' count, including those who see it in my 'highest rated' folder.) John (Crosley) Link to comment
