The pilings are in the way they dont help the pic. if you were laying on the dock you would have a lower angle. The baots and houses would be larger and some of the sky would be gone also you would have the reflection off the water.

I couldn't lie on the dock no even step on that. Only the boat owners had that privilege. So I didn't have another choice than take some shots from the sidewalk.

It's better than nothing.
