Don't know how "original" one can get with dune-shots, but I gave it

the old college try. Any thoughts on this? If I remember right,

this was handheld. Circular polarizer.... any critiques, ratings,

etc.. always appreciated.

Regardless of how original a photo of a sand dune can be, you've managed to compose yours in a very pleasing way. A very pleasing image.

Thanks Bond. This may sound a little weird, but I actually thought of you while in Death Valley as I passed a few spots of dried earth and mud that reminded me of your "mud" shot. Nothing I thought would work as well as yours though so I resisted the urge to give it a try.

Very nice and well composed. If I should suggest anything it would be to crop a little from the top, but only a slight bit to bring a better balance between the amount of space at the top and the shapes of the dunes.
