billfoster 0 Posted December 6, 2005 My first night in Hong Kong, I was on my way back from Victoria Peak and as I got off of the Star Ferry in Kowloon, I saw hundreds of people lined up along the waterfront waiting for something. Then, every building on Hong Kong Island lit up like this for about 20 minutes. Unfortunantly, it was quite foggy, but I can live with the graininess. What do you think? BTW, I'm curious about something. There was only a single green laser on each building. This is about a five second exposure. Can anyone tell me why the laser shows up as several green lines and not as a long, steady sweep? Link to comment
v 0 Posted December 6, 2005 Yes, a bit grainy, but only on the large scale version. This shot gives a good understanding of how beautiful HonKong is :) Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted December 7, 2005 Thanks ViP! I expected the big city stuff, but I was stunned by the natural beauty of the location, the winding bays, skyscrapers right against steep mountains, all the little outlying islands. It was really something. Unfortunatly, it rained my entire stay. I hope to go back and get some nice weather pics one day. It's a magnificent city. Link to comment
