salvatore.mele 1 Posted March 15, 2006 Very original use of the panoramic format, here. I like the way the kid and the horse are staring at you while everyone else is fascinated by something else. Like you three are sharing some relatively private business of picture taking amidst something supposedly more interesting. The tight framing of the stick and the horse helps in conveying this message. As in another shot of yours from this event, I would suggest a minimal crop from the top, removing the blown-up sky and the heads/torsoes of the first row of spectators, so to convey an "endless-crowd" feel to the shot. Alas, I reckon that this might break the panoramic aspect ration you are so fond of...maybe some trims from the sides could recover it. Link to comment
mpentek 0 Posted December 24, 2006 I really enjoyed your vertical panorama series. These have a much different atmosphere compared to the horizontal ones. I like the tight crop used in this one, very original. Link to comment
