This is a piece of very decorative, and I don't know how structurally

genuine, "Fachwerk" architecture in Romania.

Romania used to consist out of three little "voivodate": Wallachia,

Moldawia and Transylvania, the latter belonging, with a certain

autonomy granted, to Hungary. In the second half of the 19th century

the other two were unificated by electing the same "voivod". But,

after that first common voivod, there was no agreement on his

successor, so a king from the family of Hohenzollern was invited to

take the Romanian crown. Coming from Germany, he let this residence in

the style of his country of origin to be built.

Hi,

thanks for revisiting, you and Derek reminded me that I haven't been active for quite long ... Fact is, that I had a lot of work to do recently.

Thanks for the comment - the sky is the way I use to know the one in Portugal.

I am glad you liked it.

I have just requested a critique and so added a little comment.

see you

Maria
