Closeup of lovely Oksana on the catwalk. Does

this kind of unstandard catwalk photo have any value

fashion wise? It is a kind of a cross between a portrait

and a model shot... so does this make it a great photo

or totally useless photo? Yes, the model is ravishing, so

when evaluating, please try to deduct this fact from your

ratings :-)

I don't shoot much fashion any more, but in my opinion, it does not have much value as a fashion image, simply because there is really not much, if any, of a fashion element here.

I think your intent here may have been to sort of glamorize this lady, but think you went just a bit too heavy on the post-shoot processing on the facial skin. Also, in comparison to the rest of the image, the hair seems oversharpened. It almost does not look real. Not real sure about the light right next to her cheek, either. No matter how much I try to ignore it, it draws my eye away from her eyes, and she does have gorgeous eyes.

I do like the colors and the composition, and I really like the facial expression and the straight line of her neck.

Jim: thank you for your valued comments. I agree. Sometimes it would pay off to post the picture only next day it is ready... just to note that it actually is not :-)

I think that it does have fashion qualities. It is a runway shot. It would be more obvious if you would have showed the clothing. I could see it used in a perfume ad or something like that. I do not mind the highlight on her cheek, the lighting is good. I do not like her eyes so far to the left that we mostly see the whites of her eyes. Nice shot, yes, a fashion shot.

I don't know anything about fashion, but the shot shows her beauty very well for me, as viewer, this would sell make-up, hair spray, etc.

I find that the eyes looking away from the camera make this shot more interesting.

When I said that this image does not have much value as a "fashion image," please don't think I was saying it has no value at all. I wasn't saying that.
