mmmee 0 Posted December 2, 2005 Hmmmmmmmmm, exceptional light on this rusty door. Its turned it golden. The tiny bit of blue focuses my eye and holds it -- you might say -- locks it to that spot. I find myself wondering what I am missing, or why my eye does not move through this picture. But then there is nothing to make me move my eye around, the soft harmonizing colors make it too static. There are leading lines, but they take me out of the frame. All I am left with, is the lovely light on the door. No rating - I very seldom rate any more. I don't understand how to apply the numbers. salvatore.mele 1 Posted December 2, 2005 Nice to see some recent posts of yours, Dr. Brown! The composition is just perfect here, and -did not know you better- I would have thought you had brougt some blue tape with you to make it so great. Am I wrong or the aspect ratio is a bit "pulled" along the horizontal axis? Looks like you needed to include the bolts to the left and the space to the right of the rightmost square bolts, but something got cropped from the top... Link to comment
tripanfal 3 Posted December 4, 2005 I personally do not care for the blue on that Master lock. Old doors need an old lock. Not a bad shot though, should be rated higher IMO Link to comment
