jmoody 0 Posted December 1, 2005 Different strokes for different folks I guess. I was actually thinking that it would've been better to see more of the shrubby thing. For me it kinda breaks the monotony as well as gives the viewer a pause... "wow, how can anything grow there" etc... Never fear though, I'll be uploading plenty more sans-shrubs :-) Thanks for the comments Rob! When I have time, I promise to check more into your portfolio. You've got some really great "abstracts" Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted December 1, 2005 I find myself almost always shooting at the longer end of my zoom... any thoughts on how I did at the shorter end? Also any thoughts on the shrub? or....? Thank you for any commments, ratings, or critiques. Link to comment
maribel 0 Posted December 2, 2005 Pocos sitios conoceré ´an maravillosos como Death Valley... y en esta foto he vuelto allí®®. el punto de vista, el encuadre, me da profundidad y me lleva hasta el maravilloso cielo que veo al fondo... saludos, Maribel Link to comment
pjduncan 0 Posted December 2, 2005 Awesome shot. If anything, I'd agree with wanting a little more shrub. It's that focus of attention that makes it a very different picture than just another sand dune shot. I wish you had uploaded at a bit higher JPG quality. I can see compression artifacts around Mr. Shrub. Link to comment
carl_huelgas 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Great perspective and composition. Simple but very strong colors and contrast! Congrats Carl Link to comment
