fiona madden 0 Posted May 24, 2006 oh what a beautiful car! Great background scenery too. It would be great to get a lot more empty frame to the right since the water is such a nice colour it would be nice to see more of it! Link to comment
randall paul 0 Posted May 24, 2006 I agree Fiona but that is where I was when I shot it so this is an un-cropped shot Thanks RP Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted May 24, 2006 Hey RP :)Whereas I'm no longer such a big fan of PS'ing photos, I reckon if you cloned out that tree it wouldn't hurt this composition one bit. The rest of the picture screams "motion" but the tree is just sitting there, static. I like the fact that the horizontals are all...horizontal ;)Best regards from Kenya,Mark Link to comment
randall paul 0 Posted May 24, 2006 thanks Mark I know what you mean I haven't recently been that active as it has gone down hill on the ratings and constructiveness. Regards Randall Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted May 25, 2006 Yes, RP, I know exacly what you mean. Emphasis has been so much on ratings that comments (especially constructive ones!) are now few and far between. What a shame...Mark Link to comment
randall paul 0 Posted May 25, 2006 You should see some of the ratins I get in my admin. I think I have a few stalkers as the minute I post I get a bunch of 3/3's lol. Oh well thank god ratings don't pay the bills! Keep shooting Regards Randall Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted May 26, 2006 LOLYup, it seems PN is on the brink of degenerating into a forum for non-photographers to demoralise the true connoiseurs of our art.But I say, keep posting! You're right, ratings don't pay the bills. All taht's left if for we photographers to keep doing what we do ;)Cheers, RP!Mark Link to comment
randall paul 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Well Unfortunately that is where the shot occurred. I personally feel if the tree wasn't there, then it would be another calendar shot. This is environmental photography. But hey to each his own. Link to comment
