Great photo. THough I kind of think that the horizon at the center would create a more 'pleasing' image. This is niether 2/3 nor center - seems a bit disturbing to me. WHat do you think?

...........for your comments.

Surajit,
your comments are much appreciated. You wished the horizen line to be in the middle and I have thought about that before posting. Here I just want a distance of the horizen line that must reflect on my shot, nothing else. Thanks for your comments again and it will help me to think better in future.

Very nice work... almost a dreamscape. Lovely tone and processing; a pleasure for the eyes. Personally I love shots that break the rules for good reason; the 1/2 or 2/3 rule here fails to make nail any important message in this case IMHO.

I guess I have two more comments. Firstly, the treatment of the four corners is nice, but for me they're encroaching too much on the image and are too dark. Secondly, there is a very nice element of dynamism in the sky and the birds (by the way, I fail to find the birds' reflections), and the reflection (particularly the central part) mirrors it too well for the horizon to be significant enough, given the proportion of the reflection. Put more simply, I'ld like the reflection to be more muted; serenity and desertion is already strongly expressed by the tree, etc... But please treat this as a very subjective remark.

Best regards.

Debashis,
First of all thanks for your view. Last two suggestions are taken by honor. Will follow in the coming future. Thanks for that again. Now for you and also Ryszard, about the reflection of the birds, my view was a little different. Actually it is due the ratio proportion which was taken in count. In respect of the size of the tree, the birds were not that much far away to have its reflection in the water. If I had to put its reflection in the water the birds should be looked like some little dots in respect of the tree. Hope I made clear it to you. Thanks again to you and Ryszard very much. Love.
