susan stone 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Someone doesn't see this as a photo, I see it as Art. Abstract, colorful, interesting, and created photographically....... Link to comment
lauriee 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Thank you Susan. I read the comment of the person above and he says the same thing in his bio. Although I respect his opinion I have to disagree. The catagory is abstract and that leaves things wide open in my opinon. Art is in the eye of the beholder and if picasso had followed the rules of the painters of his time..he may not have been the master that he is today. NOT that I am comparing myself to picasso by ANY Strech of the imagination. :-) Just an observation. Another Example would be Gustav Klempt. Some of his work is really "out there" but to some he is awesome.. (my personal favorite artist!) Some of my work may not be "photography" as much as it is "whimsy" but to me that is the fun of it! I'm very glad you liked this one! Thank you again! Link to comment
Phil_Light 794 Posted January 30, 2006 I concur, this is a very pleasing abstract that is tangible, yet leaves you attempting to figure out what has been blurred in the background. The color bands remind me of soem of the planetary rings I've seen from some of the Voyager images sent back to earth as the spacecraft passes out of our solar system. Link to comment
