A puffin

I was training my patience, and after a while lying still on my belly

onto this cliff, in the guano, these guys stopped paying attention to

me...

 

I know the chest is a bit "hot"...but -being new at bird pictures- I'd

like to know what else I got wrong, here...

I've been doing bird watching for 20 years never had a chance to capture a puffin, maybe, just maybe a bit brighter in order to show the colors, Great shot !

Well, this sure is a break from the snow capped mountains! Composition seems a bit centered. The bird by itself does not give high aesthetic points; I think it would be better if you found ways to include more of the tiny flowers.

Salvatore, perhaps it's the scan but this looks a little soft to me. I would expect to see more detail. The flower in front of the puffin looks sharper. Looks like another visit to the guano is in order.
