If this photo could move someone to shake off the numbness of affluence and actually reach out to help, then you have done, with a photo, what all the crying and suffering in the world has not been able to do. The plight of these people is astonishing and you have captured that so amazingly. This is clearly the work of a professional who first and foremost cares about humanity.
