billfoster 0 Posted December 3, 2005 One thing I love in the Smokies is how one can walk about 200 yards and everything changes. I was walking near the Townshend entrance in a forest of fir and maple and all of a sudden the whole forest was just these golden trees. I lay down on the ground and snapped this one. I tried to line the trees up at each corner, but they just wouldn't cooperate. Link to comment
will king 0 Posted December 3, 2005 Bill, this perspective has certainly been done before but I don't get tired of it, especially if it's done as well as this one. I think the composition is flawless and I love the vibrance in color. ~Will Link to comment
jonbp 0 Posted December 3, 2005 Always an interesting perspective when you have such a great subject. I like the silhouetting of the trunks and the colors are of course fantastic, thanks to good use of available light. Link to comment
