I thinks this is (was) a good natural portrait. But the "paint brush" or stg effect in your software decreased details and reduced colors. After that it seems unnatural.

Serdar - I guess you mean that the image is now an "un-natural" photo, which of course is my precisely my objective. And artwork (as opposed to photography) is indeed about ambiguity and by selectively removing detail, deliberately reducing the colours and selectively increasing the highlights on her hair I've turned a mundane photo into something that can be printed bigger (than an 8x10), then framed and hung on a wall. Hi again,

I think my words leaded you a misunderstanding, sorry. (Maybe because of my poor English) I am not againist the photo software, I am using them too. I think softwares are making the alterations too easily. If you want to use them you can prefer more artistic way, and this means working with photo on a software will require more time maybe one day or a week. I think one click alterations make photos simple looking images. Good work.
